Hello Fellow Authors!
I'm Alesia, my pen name is A.C.Willard.
I have been obsessed with writing for about 10 years now. From the day I could put together a proper sentence, I was writing stories. Whether small 50 word stories, or longer 3 paged stories, I have always loved creating a whole other world inside my mind.
At first I refused to write modern day stories. The early 1600's and late 1800's always seemed so much more fascinating to me. And the topic was always the same. Stories about a girl and her horse, or stories told from the POV of a wild stallion or a small foal born on his own in the wild.
Since then I have expanded in my interests and I now write only Science Fiction, Fictional Romance.
The book I am working on now (entire series is more like it) is "The Extra-Ordinary Series". Book 1: "Evolutions". That is what I am working on right now. If you would like to view my work, you can go to my website: http://acwillard.com/
I've fallen in love with my characters and the entire process of writing this series. I had no idea I would become so engrossed in it, and I definitely did not imagine I would ever even THINK of trying to publish it.
I have not made plans for publishing yet, even though I do know that I would love to have the series published, or at least reach a wide audience of readers who will enjoy reading what I have enjoyed writing.
Book 1, "Evolutions" has already attracted a LOT of attention. When I first started writing it, only select family and friends were able to read it. After realizing that people loved the book and idea, I decided to seek more opinions. Since then I have shared the prologue and synopsis with anyone I can, and each have received very positive feedback.
My hopes are that people will enjoy reading my novels and feel as if they are living in the shoes of each character and have become a part of the story. Living through the good times and bad times with each character, and maybe even feel like they can relate to them. If I can allow the reader to feel or go through any of those, then I have succeeded and fulfilled my goals as an author.
I look forward to reading all the works of art that everyone here has created!

Re: Hello Fellow Authors!
Welcome, welcome, and thank you for joining! Good to see a fellow we-booker here. Please feel free to look around the site and get involved wherever you please. We have a forum here for promotions as well as publishing and contest opportunities, so you may find these helpful. We seem to share a passion for writing and getting so intimately connected with our worlds and characters; I myself wrote my first book when I was four, as a wedding gift for a lady at our church, so I understand your long-time passion of writing. Again, thanks for joining, hope to see you again! Your work sounds quite interesting, so feel free to promote it all you like here.
Re: Hello Fellow Authors!

I look forward to checking out your site. In the meantime, make yourself cozy. You officially have my permission!

Thanks =D Web designing is a small hobby on the side. =)
I'm glad you like the covers...I tried to keep them all within the same theme, yet give them all a unique look. Hopefully I accomplished that. =D

Yes, quite! I like the theme and the uniqueness. Each cover is simple yet powerful at once. I like designing websites and such as well.
Re: Hello Fellow Authors!
Wow...I can't believe it's been so long since my last login here O.o
I'm really going to have to get going and start visiting regularly as I really do love this site =D
Since my last visit, I have posted chapter 1 of my novel; "Evolutions" and I would love to hear what you guys think =) http://acwillard.viviti.com/-evolutions-read-the-book-
But I please ask 1 thing from those who plan on critiquing me. I get many heartless, mean and nasty critiques and I really dislike them. So please, when you critique, keep in mind that your critique should help the story not tear it apart. =D
Now...I shall dive deeper into this forum and explore some of the hidden corners.
(P.S chapter 2 should be up by next Monday)

Re: Hello Fellow Authors!
Thanks for stopping by again, and don't feel bad about infrequent visits; I've been ill and haven't been here in weeks! Glad to see you though and that you like the site. When I get the chance, I will read and critique your chapter and promise to be nice! Even if offering criticism, I try to do so positively and always mention what I like about the story, so never fear! I wouldn't like if people left a bunch of negative comments on my story either! So, I'll read later. In the meantime, please enjoy your stay here!
